FAQ

Your questions, answered

Everything you need to know about our visual exam-prep guides, how to read them, and which Canadian exams they cover.

Which exams do the books cover?

Rx Marks the Spot covers the MCC Therapeutics Decision-Making (TDM) Examination and is coming soon, currently in clinical review. MPAS High-Yield Review covers the PACCC for Canadian PAs. Deconstructing the SOOs covers the CCFP Simulated Office Orals.

How do I read the books, and can I download a PDF?

All three books are read online in our interactive reader at read.okunolareview.com. There is no PDF download. Reading online lets you use chapter maps, tap-to-reveal mnemonics, and interactive diagrams the way they were designed.

What does the interactive reader include?

The reader includes navigable chapter maps, tap-to-reveal mnemonics, interactive diagrams, practice exams with answer keys, and flash cards. Together they let you move quickly between topics, test your recall, and check your answers as you study.

Are the books Canadian-specific, and who wrote them?

Yes. Every book is built on national Canadian guidelines. They are written by a family physician with Fraser Health in British Columbia, who creates visual, mnemonic-rich study guides for Canadian medical exams.

What is the ABCDEFGH-SMS mnemonic?

ABCDEFGH-SMS is the author's own mnemonic for non-pharmacological management. It appears in all three books, giving you one consistent, memorable framework for lifestyle and supportive care across therapeutics, PA certification, and CCFP oral exam preparation.

Are the books endorsed by the MCC, PACCC/CAPA or CFPC? When is Rx Marks the Spot available?

No. The books are independent of, and not endorsed by, the MCC, PACCC/CAPA or CFPC. Rx Marks the Spot is coming soon and is currently in clinical review. Contact us and we'll notify you when it's available.
